Keep pushing forward, I have a promise to keep,
When you feel tied to a board, each inch is a leap.
Soon, I will find her; I'm gathering pieces,
To be a good lover, in a place where I’m needed.
It’s the end of a chapter, so I’ll tuck it away.
Someone may have her, but won’t love her the same.
I’ll keep a piece to remember, one that I’ll cherish.
Was a frosty December, but I know that I’ll manage.
Where I’ll head next, that I don’t know.
Let me get a quick rest, then I’ll see where it goes.
I’ll find a new flower and watch as it blossoms,
I gain strength by the hour. I crawled from the bottom.
I offer peace to the people whose blades I still feel.
My hatred’s grown weaker, resolve strong as steel.
Who discovers me after, I can’t be sure.
But fill me with laughter and I’ll surely be lured
