Scripture Reveal Wk 33-3
Peter’s vivid instruction to “clothe yourselves with humility toward one another”(1 Peter 5:5-6) suggests that humility is something we must deliberately put on each day. Like choosing what clothes to wear, we must consciously decide to adopt a humble attitude in our interactions. This clothing metaphor also implies that humility should be visible to others- not in showy self- deprecation but in genuine other-centeredness.
