paralysis of analysis is a real thing

imagine the first time you played basketball

you had to dribble the ball and shoot the ball

what would happen if we put all of our focus on just dribbling the ball?

we would never progress to attempting to shoot the ball

what’s the result of this? zero baskets made

same thing applies to business

there’s all types of methods inside of business

for example all businesses need marketing

what would happen if we put 100% of our focus into branding?

and when I say focus I’m referring to all of the extra time we put in after learning the basic fundamentals

learning is a low leverage activity if you don’t balance it

some of us get caught in a never ending loop/web of education because we believe we’re not ready to take action

this causes us to practically obsess over the minor details we don’t need to

in return this wastes times and stops us from doing anything income producing

so the next time you spend countless hours on education understand that you must shoot the ball in order for it to go into the basket
