HI all,
3 weeks ago I started a Meta campaign for a $10 product, targeting women aged 25-40 in the US/UK/CA/AU, broad targeting.
First 4 days at $5/day, average CPM $10. On day 5 I increased the budget to $20/day and simultaneously edited the ads, causing them to go back into review. From that point CPM increased to an average of $110 over 18 days, last 2 days even $350. Total spent $323, 2 sales of which the pixel only registered 1.
Result: Meta spends the full daily budget but only sends 1 to 4 visitors to my LP per day.
clauds theory: the combination of a 4x budget increase and ad edits reset the learning phase, leaving Meta spending a higher budget with no data on my audience.
Plan: start a fresh campaign at $5/day and scale a maximum of 20% at a time.
Any advice or insights on this would be appreciated!
