💳 3 American Express Hidden Rules
1️⃣ The 2-in-90 Rule
American Express typically allows only 2 credit card approvals within a 90-day period. If you apply for a third card within those 90 days, it will usually be automatically denied.
2️⃣ The 5 Credit Card Limit
Amex usually allows a maximum of 5 credit cards at a time (not including charge cards like the Amex Gold or Platinum).
3️⃣ The “Once Per Lifetime” Bonus Rule
American Express typically allows you to earn a welcome bonus only once per lifetime per card. If you’ve had the card before and received the bonus, you usually won’t qualify again.
