Hi everyone ๐
Iโve ended up here through a slightly unusual mix of lived experience, operational work, recovery conversations, neurodivergence, burnout, systems thinking and a lot of very late-night โhang on a minuteโฆโ moments.
A huge part of the work and thinking Iโve been exploring recently sits around the crossover between:
โข ADHD
โข addiction
โข emotional regulation
โข burnout
โข shame
โข nervous system overload
โข and what happens when people spend years surviving systems that never fully understood them in the first place.
The more I looked into neurodivergence through my own life and my children, the more I started recognising similar patterns everywhere else too:
โข recovery
โข workplaces
โข education
โข community settings
โข mental health
โข trauma
โข exclusion
It stopped feeling like isolated struggles and started looking more like repeated human patterns.
Iโm particularly interested in:
โข recovery through a neurodivergent lens
โข trauma-informed approaches
โข reducing shame-based narratives
โข earlier understanding
โข and creating environments where people can engage without judgement or stigma.
David Collins encouraged me to join after reading some of my writing and honestlyโฆ Iโm really glad he did.
Looking forward to learning from everyone here and being part of the conversations.
