Client Getting DM Scripts (for editors + creators)
These are plug-and-play and don’t sound spammy.
A) Creator DM (short-form):
“Hey [Name] — been watching your content. Quick one: I’m a short-form editor and I noticed 2 small tweaks that could lift retention on your next videos. Want me to send them?”
If yes:“1) tighten the first 1.5s with a punch-in + faster first line2) add pattern interrupts every 2–3s (zoom/cutaway/caption hit)If you want, I can edit one video as a sample so you can see the style.”
B) Business DM (restaurants/brands):
“Hey [Name] — I help businesses turn their raw phone footage into scroll-stopping shorts (editing + captions + pacing). If you send me one clip, I’ll cut a sample so you can see what it looks like.”
C) Follow-up (48 hours):
“Just circling back — want me to cut that quick sample? Takes me 20 minutes and you’ll know instantly if it fits.”
