✨ Short weeks always throw me off a little as a writer.
There’s something strange about coming down from a Monday holiday and suddenly realizing the week is already halfway over. Sometimes it can feel hard to find your rhythm again—especially if the holiday disrupted your routine, sleep schedule, motivation, or creative energy.
And honestly? That’s normal.
One thing I try to remind myself during short weeks is:👉 you do not have to immediately jump back into full productivity mode.
Sometimes reconnecting with writing looks like:
✍️ rereading your draft
☕ sitting down for 15 quiet minutes
📝 brainstorming scenes
🎧 joining a writing sprint
💛 lowering the pressure a little
You don’t have to “make up” for the holiday. You just have to gently find your way back to the page.
Creative rhythms aren’t always perfect or consistent—and that doesn’t mean you’re failing as a writer.
So if this week feels a little off, give yourself some grace 🌿
How do you usually find your rhythm again after a long weekend or disrupted routine? 👇
