Hagar, a maid in the home of Brother Abram and Sister Sarai had been treated unjustly and in that hatred and resentment she fled to the desert. An angel of the Lord found her 👀weary, lonely, disappointed, disillusioned sitting by a fountain of water in that desert. As the angel questioned her she said to him the reasons for her flight. The angel said to her, 🗣️Return... & submit.🙌🏾What a shock that must have been to the unhappy maid! Perhaps she was expecting sympathy… certainly she was unprepared 👀for such advice. She couldn't be expected to return to that impossible situation and to her mistress, she reasoned.
