VR Apps to Try (Meta Quest): Mind • Body • Creative Spirit — with descriptions!
Hi Skool community!
Here’s an updated list of Meta Quest VR apps I recommend to support your Mind • Body • Creative Spirit. Each app is listed on its own line with a quick description so you can choose what you need today.
If you already own some of these—great! Try approaching them with a fresh mindset: instead of “What should I do in VR?”, ask “What do I need right now?”
  • Do I need calm or a nervous-system reset?
  • Do I need movement or energy?
  • Do I need connection or play?
  • Do I need to create or express what I’m feeling?
No obligation to purchase anything. I don’t work for (and have no affiliate relationship with) any of these developers. This is simply a curated list built from 6 years of using immersive therapies in a mental health center and seeing what truly supports people.
Quick tip: Start with 10–15 minutes, especially if you’re new to VR.
🎨 Creativity & Art Apps
BrushworkVR (WebXR) — Paint on a virtual canvas with realistic brush feel; very intuitive and calming (open in Quest Browser).
MultiBrush — 3D painting with lots of tools, plus multiplayer for collaborative art-making.
Open Brush — Paint in 3D space (a wonderful “creative release” and flow-state tool).
Vermillion — A beautifully realistic oil painting studio in VR for deep focus and soothing creativity.
ARTO — A friendly drawing app that makes it easy to create without pressure; great for playful self-expression.
VR Sketch — Great for spatial creativity and viewing/working with 3D models (Sketch-style workflow in VR).
Let’s Create! Pottery VR — A relaxing pottery wheel experience that feels grounding and meditative.
Color Space — You’re inside a coloring book world; simple, soothing, and great for all ages.
Special Exhibit — Spatial (My VR Galleries + Community Space) — In Spatial you can explore my immersive spaces, including: a walkthrough of the animated pages of my book, a large gallery of my real-life artwork, a patient art exhibit, and my favorite place to meet people: Mindful Meetings with Jacqueline.
🧘 Meditation & Mindfulness
Guided Meditation VR — Serene environments with guided series you can match to what you need (stress, sleep, mindfulness, etc.).
TRIPP — Stunning guided mindfulness journeys that help even “non-meditators” drop in and reset.
Gratitui: Real Beaches & Meditation — Sit near real, beautiful beaches and choose the gratitude/meditation you need in the moment.
Realms of Flow — Visually mesmerizing relaxation experiences designed to calm your nervous system and support flow-state.
Novobeing — Therapeutic VR-style meditations and breathwork with a supportive, calming approach.
Levitate — A seated virtual sanctuary for meditation and quiet reset time.
💪 Fitness + Flow State (Mind–Body Connection)
Supernatural (multiplayer) — Full-body cardio in breathtaking places + meditations; now multiplayer so I can work out with patients/clients.
Guided Tai Chi — Gentle movement + breath + presence; great for flexibility and flow without heavy sweat.
REAKT Performance Trainer — Trains reaction time, coordination, and focus; excellent “brain + body” conditioning.
FitXR — Boxing, HIIT, and dance workouts; great cardio variety (often subscription-based).
FunFitLand — Immersive coached fitness world with multiple workout styles and a fun vibe.
FlowFit (inside FunFitLand) — Mindful movement in VR; Jacqueline Drake helped develop this new mindful movement in VR.
STARWAVE — Groovy rhythm-based cardio that feels like a moving meditation when you lock into the beat.
Groovy Labs — A rhythm “sandbox” for sweat + coordination + flow; great if you like variety and experimentation.
Synth Riders — One of the best flow-state rhythm experiences; can be real cardio and feels like dancing through patterns.
🌿 Relaxing & Fun (Nature + Connection)
Nature Treks VR — Peaceful nature worlds with gentle interactions; great for stress relief and all ages.
Alcove (AARP) — A welcoming VR “living room” for connection, wellness activities, and easy shared experiences.
✅ Post your try-out in Skool!
Reply with: (1) what you tried, (2) how your mind felt after, (3) how your body felt after, and (4) what it sparked creatively.
With warmth,
Jacqueline Drake
