💡 I Broke Up With Social Media... 💔
About a year ago, I broke up with social media.
Well... mostly. 😂
Before that, I was on again.
Off again.
Always wondering if I should be posting more.
Creating more.
Trying harder.
Eventually, I decided to go all in on email marketing instead.
Not because social media is bad...
But because I wanted to build something I actually owned.
There's just one problem...
If you're going to rely on email marketing, you need people to email. 😄
Which meant I had one very important job:
Grow the damn email list.
That's when everything shifted.
Instead of spending all my energy trying to beat the algorithm, I started focusing on getting in front of other people's audiences.
🤝 Speaking in summits.
📦 Participating in bundles.
🎙️ Guest podcast interviews.
💜 Building relationships.
Because every collaboration introduced me to people who probably never would have found me otherwise.
That mindset changed everything for me.
Now, my content has a job...
But my collaborations help new people discover it.
If you're trying to rely less on social media too, I highly recommend checking out Email Marketing Skool by (affiliate link). It goes hand-in-hand with what we're building here because once you decide email is the priority... the next question becomes:
How do I consistently grow my list?
For me, collaborations have been one of the biggest answers.
💬 I'd love to know...
Are you still relying mostly on social media, or are you intentionally building your email list too?
