ARC-AGI-3 was just announced. They call it the only unsaturated agentic intelligence benchmark.

If you don’t know ARC-AGI, it is a benchmark designed to test general intelligence and reasoning, not memorization, coding, or exam knowledge. It gives AI completely new logic and pattern problems that it has never seen before and asks it to figure out the rule and solve them.

These tasks are usually easy for humans but very hard for AI because they require abstraction and reasoning instead of training data.

The interesting part is that humans score around 100 percent, while AI scores less than 1 percent. So even though AI is very good at coding, writing, and exams, it still struggles with general reasoning and new problems.

This is why benchmarks like ARC are important. They try to measure general intelligence, not just trained skills.
