Burned 20 dollar using Minimax 🔥

Well... What looked promising yesterday when watching a video on YouTube about Minimax ended up in a (not complete) disaster...

Minimax has a new model with a super large info frame, so I wanted to try it out.

I first created my MVP features, tech-stack, design brief and state brief markdowns before I went in to Minimax.

With one prompt, people were able to create a clone of Netflix, which was working, even trailers etc.

Well for me it ended up differently. I took my files, created a prompt to initiate this and the results were super basic, it only created a basic structure with just one page (the dashboard).

No functionalities, no other pages, no backend, nothing for me to setup.

I asked minimax if this is all of it, because I think it was confused, yes he was... He appologized for the mistake and started running again. I burned all my tokens with this try and ended up with still nothing usable. Yes I ended up with a bunch of files I could download, but come on... This has no structure at all.

So people, beware of what they tell you! 🤣
