Do You Use Your Built-in Musical Instrument? 🎤🎵

I have a memory of myself when I was four years old.

Singing at the top of my lungs (regular songs not children songs)

I had a loving sister who was four years older than me who was my audience. And in my imagination, there were many more people there.

I grew up religious, so over time I learnt that my singing is not to be developed, encouraged or even permitted— because I’m a girl.

In the last couple of years, as I freed myself from other oppressive realities, and did a hefty chunk of Inner child healing, I started joining karaoke bars.

It feeds my adult self— as it’s fun, and allows for energy to move through my body in a positive way,

And of course it feeds the four year-old Chanie…
