Has anyone tried Direct Primary Care, as opposed to traditional medical insurance that dictates your doctor for you? What are your experiences good or bad?
I have medical coverage through the VA, which is government controlled and taxpayer funded. There are many in that system that do really care about veterans, but without honest information being the foundation of any given help provided or offered to us, it is pointless to expect consistent good results. Traditional medicine is in most cases that of merely offering pharmaceutical products and/or surgery. Emergency care for loss of limb, or broken bones is good & necessary, as well as anesthesia like novocaine and other localized pain remediation, but the majority of traditional medicine doesn't actually cure anything or focus on comprehensive preventive measures that help ensure a body & mind healthy enough to be naturally immune to disease & illness, or to truly cure through correcting the deficiencies that cause our diseases & illnesses.
However, there is a greater awareness of these things which is leading to better alternatives to traditional medicine as it has come to be through the harm of the pharmaceutical industry, the insurance industry, the medical industry, and the food manufacturing industry.
Simply put, money equals power, and those with the most money have the most power. Power & money being addictive, where the material gains provide only temporary highs that require constant increases in money & power with results that never truly fulfill the addicts perceived needs. The mindset and perception of wealth being related to money or material possessions or affluence needs to change in order for the addictive detrimental behavior to end.
The human purpose & vocation is not linked to anything above the basic needs of food, shelter, basic clothing, and love. Love being the key, a proper definition & understanding of what love is, as it is a choice of certain behaviors, not a feeling derived from impulsive emotions or visual stimulation that always fades with time. Love is that of patience, kindness, being thoughtful, not jealous or envious, not prideful or arrogant, not rude or selfish, not easily angered, not holding a grudge or hanging on to historical wrong-doing, not rejoicing in harm to others. Love is that of rejoicing in the objective truth, overcomes all that seems unbearable with grace & mercy, it is full of hope even in the most difficult times and love never fails in the sense of that which truly matters. Love is an eternal commitment that overcomes all that oppose it for what it truly is. Love has a source that we can rest in & upon & seek out, finding to be real and beyond our complete understanding.
Complete health can only be attained when true & complete love is the foundation of it.
