**The Urban Pirates’ Guide to Treasure Hunting**
Ahoy there, mateys! Do you want to be an urban pirate? Do you want to find the treasures hidden in plain sight? Then grab your eye patch and your hook, and listen to this book!
We’ll teach you how to spot the clues that lead to shiny loot. We'll show you where to look and what you need to do. But remember, be real careful and respectful too!
First, let’s start with the sidewalks where people walk and run. Sometimes they drop their coins or rings when they’re having fun! Look for cracks and edges where these treasures might get stuck. But don’t pick up anything sharp, that would be bad luck!
Next, let’s visit some stores and gas stations where people buy their things. Sometimes they leave behind their earrings or necklaces or shiny diamond rings! Look under the displays and registers where these treasures might fall. But don’t touch anything that’s not yours, that would be wrong after all!
Then, let’s go to some churches and temples where people pray and sing. Sometimes they lose their bracelets or watches or other bling! Look on the ground outside where these treasures might lie. But don’t take anything that belongs to someone else, that would make them cry!
Finally, let’s keep our eyes open for anything that sparkles or glows. Sometimes it’s glass or metal or plastic that someone throws. Look for REAL treasures wherever you go. But don’t pick up anything dangerous or broken, that may hurt you so!
Every time you find something, it is important to be safe and smart. Ask a grown-up to help you if you’re not sure where to start, And always put your treasures in a special place or jar. You never know when you might need them for your next adventure afar!
You see, being an urban pirate is not hard at all. You just need to be curious and have a ball. You can find treasure everywhere if you know how to look. Maybe someday you’ll write your own urban pirate book! 🏴☠️
