Finding Peace After Discard
When I found myself discarded and left to fend for myself while the narcissist began a new life with a new wife, I was stuck in a deep fog about how, why, and what I did to deserve this.
I later learned this hard truth: that is just what they do. They extract their supply, and when they feel you are no longer needed, they simply find someone else to provide it.
During that time, I sought help from the Bible and found so many verses that have kept me anchored in the Word ever since. But one in particular stands out today. If you are just now finding yourself in that heavy situation, remember that Jesus invites you to come to Him.
If you are heavily burdened with all the swirling emotions of this troublesome situation: give them to Him. In return, He will give you rest. It is His rest and a peace that compares to nothing you can experience on earth.
His peace and His love will get you through.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28

I believe every woman who has been betrayed and discarded deserves to know she is
seen, not alone, and that her story isn't over.
