Sometimes we try to get too advanced before we have the basics down. Always start with the basics first.
It’s like trying to build a house by starting with roof and the paint job. You need to start with the foundation first, then build from there.
In fact, since this is lesson 23, you might want to start at lesson 1 from this website. In the meantime….
These are the scale degrees and it explains why they are called that in the first place…
