As many you would surmise, that in the time of antiqueity when these ancient writings were first transcribed, it wasn't a secret to the masses as well as to he more knowledgable groups of individuals for the time, that the world we live on is a level flat plane. Of course that being said, when they were writing these ancient texts such as the ones we've come to know as the Bible and the Qur'an and so on, they naturally would also include the true nature of the realm we live in. What one can find mildly amusing, is that despite a lot of the knowledge in these ancient texts being allegory and encoded, a lot of what they have to say regarding the shape of the Earth was actually quite direct, and could even seen plain as day (The degree of this will vary from text to text, but you get the point). But naturally, many 'educated' individuals of today, claim that those specific parts were allegory and then continue to take the rest of these sacred writings as literal. Whether you find it amusing, saddening, or even frusterating in the irony of the mainstream understanding of these texts, having the knowledge in your repertoire of knowledge will still be a boon to both your enlightenment and in your encounters with those who are ignorent of such vital truths.

For those of you who are experienced astrologers, a lot of this will be very familiar to you. Regardless, knowing what these influences can do for or to us will be paramount to performing this type of Magick, which of course should be obvious. It is no mystery that much like a mundane worksman, knowing what their tools do and how they should be used is necessary and Planetary Magick is no different.
