The 12 Stages of Alchemy - Leo and Digestion

Leo, the fifth sign on the ecliptic. This is the sign that despite what most that are experienced in Astrology, is the sign of digestion in the alchemical process. This is not to be confused with Virgo's rulership over the biological digestion system, nor necessarily ignoring Leo's rulership over the heart, for it is in the heart where the digestion takes place in the alchemical process.
