"Passive income" is a dangerous myth for beginners. In the first 1–2 years, you aren't building passive income; you are working for deferred wages. You are doing hours of unpaid labor now in the hopes it pays off later. Calling it 'passive' makes people quit when they realize how much active work is actually required upfront.
Do you agree that the term ‘passive income’ sets false expectations, or do you think it’s a realistic goal for year one?
