This morning I found myself thinking about something simple: bread.
I simply looked at a loaf of store-bought bread and realized that somewhere along the way, we turned four simple ingredients into twenty-three.
That got me thinking about how bread has been used on Mediterranean tables for generationsโnot as the star of the meal, but as a companion to soups, beans, fish, salads, and family gatherings.
