Do not wait until you have something to take!
Whether we live close by or farther away from your families, relatives or loved ones, we need to visit them more often. We need to make time to do so because life is so short. We rather visit and talk to them while alive than pay respect and show up on their funerals 😢 😢. Sometimes, in our Samoan culture, we tend to wait until we have something to take with us, then go. I know it's easier saying than done but I experienced visiting without taking anything but genuine love and compassion. Your relative can feel the genuity of your love and good intentions. So please do not wait until you have something to take for them, it might be too late.

We loved to share with you what Tama'ita'i Samoa and her role in our culture is because it is not as simple as it sounds. Tama'ita'i means Lady.
