👮Reported My Vehicle as Stolen 🚔
💭 Just another day as a Turo host cleaning and delivering whips 🚗
🧽 I prep’d my ‘18 Hyundai Elantra for a 6-day trip…
📸 Took good photos
🔢 Verified the guest & sent the code
🎬 Mission complete and await the return…
🕗 The guest is about 8-hours away and two days before the return she has fraudulent bank activity and her account is locked 🔐
✍🏾 She requests an extension until the issue is resolved so she access her money and return 🤷🏾♂️
🚫 The extension was reversed/declined and she didn’t have money to return 😳
👻 Then she begin ghosting me and Turo support
⏳ I had to wait 24-hrs & reported the vehicle stolen through Turo
👊🏾 Turo Vehicle Theft Team jumped on the Turo messages between me and the guest 🥊 and went str8 OG!!!! I was impressed….😏
😱 The guest responded by saying she’s speaking with Turo support for assistant—which the Vehicle Investigator replied—“Turo support can’t help you…this is my case now.” 🫢🫣😲
⏰ The guest begin the trip home about an hour later… 🤷🏾♂️ what all the investigators said on the phone but the messages I read—was enough!!!
📲 AND the investigator handled my ENTIRE reimbursement process….all I needed to send were pics.
🧾The investigator threw the book 📕 Only thing is missing is $150 coming fee but surprisingly the car was pretty clean.
