I didn’t think I had much to say as a writer, but being in the Literary Lounge has sharpened me. These daily prompts push me to notice things I would’ve skipped over before — a doorknob, a window, a bit of light. Writing them down makes me see how even small details can turn into a story.
What’s surprised me the most is how it’s created a real desire in me to write more. I find myself looking forward to the next prompt, and even thinking about scenes on my own. The Lounge gives me a place to try, to stretch, and to grow without feeling judged. I may be a beginner, but I feel like I belong here.
