Yesterday I told some of my clients about the risk levels on this NQ 1440 Algo
And as a result, they turned it off
Today its up $4.6k
Was this a mistake?
Yes completely my fault.
And in trading we are often rewarded for the wrong actions (being greedy, taking too much risk)
And punished for the right actions (following a system, respecting risk)
But in order to consistently make the right decisions
We need to detach ourselves from the emotions
Its kinda like this, if your family was trapped in a burning building.
Would you run in to save them?
In spite of getting 3rd degree burns, you probably would right?
Even if it was a 1% chance you could save them.
In this case you'd be getting 'punished' for taking the right actions
That's why we need to divorce ourselves from the emotional aspects
and just look at the stats
Its the only way to trade systematically.
