Reflection - Week 1
Most of us were taught that strength means control, but not what we’re supposed to control.
For a long time, I thought strength meant controlling outcomes, people, or situations. What I learned later (usually the hard way) is that real strength is about controlling yourself, especially when it would be easier not to.
Anger, silence, pride, avoidance… all of them can feel useful in the moment. Sometimes they even work. Until they don’t.
So I’ll start with a simple question to kick things off:
Where has your strength helped you recently, and where has it cost you something you didn’t expect?
No need to be polished.
No need to explain yourself.
Listening is just as valid as posting.
