Hello everyone! My wife, Mikayla, and I work as a Realtor duo here in Arizona, and I’m also a full-time major airline pilot. Excited to be part of this group and to build with like-minded professionals.
I wanted to add to what mentioned about the power of social media and how it can directly translate into business. Another example: an Oregon Realtor came across our page, connected with us, and ended up referring clients who needed to sell in Arizona while buying in Oregon. That referral happened simply because of content.
One key takeaway we’ve learned is the importance of diversifying your content. Just like we all diversify our investments, we should also diversify our online brand (to some extent). For example, if you post about cars, baseball, and gardening and see 200, 200, and 1,000 views respectively, you should lean into gardening. Then, if you try tomatoes, potatoes, and carrots and carrots pull 5,000 views, you’ve found your niche—go all in on carrots.
For us personally, we’ve found that real estate comedy, pilot “day-in-the-life” content, and videos featuring both of us (instead of just one) perform the best. Social media is all about testing, tracking, and then doubling down on what resonates.
