One Halloween night, I made my debut in the league side of chess. Each game is 75 minutes with 10 seconds increment for every move made.
Of course, I was nervous seeing as though this was my first time.
It wasn't a debut to remember, sadly, as I lost to S. Norman.
Here's the moves (I PLAYED WHITE IN THIS GAME):
- e4, c6
- d4, d5
- e5, Bf5
- Bd3, Bxd3
- Qxd3, e6
- Nf3, Qc7
- O-O, Nd7
- c3, O-O-O
- Nbd2, h5
- h4, Be7
- c4, g5
- Nxg5, Bxg5
- hxg5, Ne7
- Nf3, h4
- cxd5, Nxd5
- g6, fxg6
- Qxg6, Rdg8
- Qxe6, Rg7
- Qh3, Kb8
- Ng5, Nf8
- f4, Qb6
- Be3, Nxe3
- Qxe3, h3
- Nxh3, Qxb2
- Ng5, Rg6
- Qf2, Qa3
- Qf3, Qb4
- d5, Rgh6
- dxc6, Qd4+
After the check, I saw the forced checkmate and reluctantly resigned the position. Wasn't the best debut I was looking for, but there's better positions to come!
