- They avoid meeting in person, making excuses about distance, work, or safety.
- Eventually, money requests show up — “emergencies,” “travel costs,” or “investments.”
🛑 Red Flag Tip: If someone you’ve never met in person asks for money or gift cards, it’s almost always a scam.
