✨ Work in Action Friday ✨
Presence Builders, here’s your reminder that coordinating does not mean matching.
My client Deuce and his wife attended an all-chocolate wedding this spring, and I love how their looks came together. We usually love custom for Deuce, but this time I found this beautiful double-breasted chocolate suit off the rack. Paired with the black bow tie and loafers, it gave him a polished formal look without feeling predictable.
And look at the two of them together. 🤎
They’re both wearing brown, but they aren’t wearing the same brown. Her softer chocolate tone against his deeper shade creates dimension, and the different textures keep everything visually interesting while still looking intentional as a couple.
When you’re coordinating looks with someone, think complementary, not identical. Stay within the same color story, then use different shades, textures and accessories to give each person their own moment.
Because the goal isn’t to look like twins, it’s to look like you belong in the same picture. 😉
And Deuce and his wife definitely understood the assignment.
