Son-in-law
I am struggling with my son-in-law's behavior. He leaves all child rearing and events to our daughter. She goes to scouts with the boys, as well as their games, etc. My wife just came back from her mother's day visit to Virginia. The boys were both getting promoted in scouts and dad laid on the couch and didn't go. They also went to go cart racing while he stayed home.
The only reason I missed anything my children were involved in is if I was deployed. I can't understand his level of sorryness. He talks to our daughter like a 2nd class citizen too.
It pains me deeply, but I'm not allowed to say anything to him since I'm her stepfather. I need discernment and peace. Thank you for letting me vent.
