The Haven Initiative is the founding community of the TIAG Network — and if you're new, this is the best place to start.

TIAG stands for The Independent American Gardener. It's the community vision brought to life by Jamon Mysliwiec and his family — rooted in one simple, radical conviction:

EVERY family deserves to be free, fed, and sovereign — on their own land, in their own community, by their own hands.

This community is built on the 4 Pillars of Self-Sufficiency:

Whether you're starting with a single raised bed or managing a multi-acre homestead, you belong here. We meet you where you are and walk with you toward where you're going.
