There has been a lot of research backing the PERMA model habits. It is a key output for positive psychology. It is not about pretending to be something that you are not but rather doing certain habits that will generate the positive emotions that help us become more intrinsically motivated and propel us forward towards our desired outcomes. Attached are some examples of PERMA habits you can try. For me, I do meditation, yoga /exercise breaks, gratitude journaling, positive affirmations, set times to connect with people, key actions aligned to my values and purpose each day. I'm interested to hear what works / doesn't work for you.
