About The Awards
Have you ever wanted to recognize someone for what they are doing in the disc golf community? If so, this is the space for you! We have a handful of awards we will give away to those who are making a difference in their disc golf communities. Here are the different awards:
- Third Space of the Year- The highest honor. Given to a person, group, or organization that has created a consistent, welcoming Third Space through disc golf with real community impact.
- Tournament Director of the Year- Recognizes leadership, fairness, communication, and player experience.
- Volunteer of the Year- Honors behind-the-scenes service, consistency, and commitment.
- Community Builder Award- For creating opportunities that grow and strengthen the local disc golf scene.
- Rising Leader Award- Recognizes new or emerging leaders making an early impact.
- Spirit of the Game Award- Honors integrity, sportsmanship, and representing the game and community well.
A panel of 5 people will be formed to go through each nomination.
Nominations will open up in September 1 and end December 1 with the winners announced at the end of December.
