Luther from RG Construction just said something that exposes the biggest trap for new Revit users:
"Data is useless if you can't translate it into INFORMATION."
When you are learning, you think a "good model" is one that looks detailed on your screen. Wrong.
A good model is one that a contractor can actually build from.
If you are filling your model with heavy families just to make it look cool, but the dimensions are wrong, you aren't an Architect. You're a digital artist. 🎨
The Lesson: Don't get addicted to the software. Get addicted to the building.
Question: Be honest—in your last project, did you model how the pieces actually fit together, or did you just make it look good for the render? 👇
