12X Wisdom in Action - Join Us tomorrow Morning at 8:00AM EST
Proverbs 12X Family,
Before you scroll past this, stop and consider something serious:
What if your lack of restraint is the very thing sabotaging your breakthrough? What if your craving for more is the root of your spiritual exhaustion? What if your refusal to receive correction is keeping you poor, blind, and unfruitful?
Proverbs 25 is a scalpel. Not a sword. It doesn’t slice through the wicked with judgment - it carves into the wise with precision. And tomorrow morning at 8:00AM EST, we’re going to sit with this text and let the Spirit of God cut what needs cutting.
If you’ve never joined us for a 12X Lab, this is the one to attend. And if you’re part of the Skool community already, don’t miss this.
Take 3 - 5 minutes to read the chapter before we meet. Ask the Lord to show you the wound - and the wisdom.
The World’s Appetite is Broken
They consume and consume - and vomit truth out of their souls.
If you've been paying attention to the wickedness in our culture this past week, you’ve seen this firsthand.
Two weeks ago, a man was murdered in cold blood. His name was Charlie Kirk.
And instead of mourning, the mockers gathered. The atheists danced. The fools celebrated.
Why? Because when a nation rejects wisdom, it doesn’t become neutral - it becomes vile.
Proverbs 25 confronts this kind of culture. It speaks to three critical areas where we need wisdom now more than ever: Self, Wealth, and Relationships.
1. Self – Proverbs 25:28
“He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.”
This is where destruction begins - not with demons, but with lack of discipline.
The Hebrew word for rule means to restrain, to shut in, to take control. In ancient times, a city without walls was unprotected, exposed, open to thieves, wild animals, and enemy invasion. So is the man who cannot control his emotions, appetites, or reactions.
It’s not that the enemy attacks you. It’s that you leave the gate wide open.
Modern Application:
- You overeat when anxious.
- You overspend when bored.
- You overreact when challenged.
- You overcommit when insecure.
You cannot master business, relationships, or leadership until you master yourself. God doesn’t anoint ungoverned vessels.
Practical Challenge:Fast once this week. Deny your flesh and train your spirit. Choose a small resistance to build inner restraint.
2. Wealth – Proverbs 25:16
“Hast thou found honey? eat so much as is sufficient for thee, lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit it.”
Here’s the dirty secret of wealth:
Not every blessing is a benefit.
The Hebrew metaphor here is surgical. Honey represents sweetness, pleasure, even abundance. But too much of it makes us sick. That’s not legalism. That’s love.
More isn’t always better. Bigger isn’t always smarter. Some of the worst business decisions are made in the name of growth - when what you need is wisdom, margin, and moderation.
Ask yourself:
- Are you working more to impress… or to obey?
- Is that new client sent by God… or bait from the enemy?
- Have you been investing in your soul as much as your skill?
God is not against increase. He is against indulgence.
If you treat gain as your god, He may give it to you - and let you vomit it back out.
3. Relationships – Proverbs 25:11–12
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.”
This may be the most under-practiced and over-spiritualized area of Christian living: grace-filled correction.
Solomon compares well-spoken truth to a royal masterpiece. Think gold apples placed inside intricately designed silver carvings - precious, beautiful, and lasting.
But look closely. That kind of speech only produces fruit when it lands on an obedient ear.
And that’s where many of us miss the mark.
We despise rebuke. We label correction as control. We call conviction “judgmental.”And in doing so, we forfeit the very thing that could transform us.
Faithful are the wounds of a friend. That is still in the Bible (Proverbs 27:6).
Practical Challenge:
- Who have you given permission to correct you?
- Do your friends rebuke your sin - or just reinforce your bias?
- Do you immediately defend yourself - or reflect prayerfully?
Tomorrow’s Lab is not just about interpreting these Proverbs. It’s about obeying them.
Join Us Live – 8:00AM EST
Every week, we meet to apply the 12X Wisdom Operating System to life, business, and relationships. Not in theory, but in action.
This is not self-help with Bible verses. This is Spirit-led transformation through God’s ancient wisdom.
You are invited.
Whether you’re part of the Skool community already or not. Whether you’ve attended before or this is your first time.
Let’s reason together. Let’s grow together. Let’s apply what others mock.
