The simple stack I’d use to run a small web agency
When you're building websites for local businesses, the actual website is only part of the job.
You also have to manage leads, client requests, revisions, tasks, content, follow-ups, and all the little things that happen between signing a client and handing over the finished site.
I've been trying to keep that side of things pretty simple:
  • ChatGPT / Claude — research, copy, brainstorming, and getting through repetitive work faster
  • Figma — planning layouts and getting client feedback before touching the code
  • Laravel / React / Tailwind — actually building the websites and tools
  • Notion — SOPs, reusable processes, and client documentation
  • Floment — keeping projects, daily to-dos, progress updates, and AI assistance together
What I like about this setup is that each tool has a job.
I'm not trying to find an AI tool for every tiny task anymore. I'd rather have a small stack that helps me go from lead → project → delivery → recurring work without creating another layer of complexity.
For anyone running a web agency, what's currently the one tool you rely on most to keep client projects moving?
