What They Don’t Tell You About Coming Home
I created this video and song for the veterans who know what it feels like to come home, but still feel like part of them is somewhere else.
The uniform gives you identity.
The mission gives you purpose.
Deployment builds you up.
But coming home can tear you down in ways most people will never see.
A lot of veterans carry things in silence. Memories. Losses. Pressure. Guilt. Pain. Moments they never talk about. And sometimes home does not feel like peace right away. Sometimes home feels unfamiliar, even when everyone expects you to be okay.
This video is for the ones still fighting battles no one sees.
Your service mattered.
Your story matters.
Your life still has purpose.
The uniform may be off, but God is not done with you yet.
