Skool gives you levels.We turned them into a story.
Every level represents how you show up for your own security, this community, and other nurses.
This is NOT about being perfect. It's about progressing.
Here’s what each level means and how to move up.
đŸ©ș LEVEL 1 – NEW GRAD“Just starting the journey.”
You just walked into the unit for the first time.
At Level 1 you’re:
  • Getting your bearings.
  • Reading, watching, observing.
  • Maybe feeling behind (you’re not).
How to move toward Level 2:
  • Read the START HERE posts.
  • Watch 1–2 resources in the Academy Learning Lab.
  • Leave your first comment or intro post.
Everyone starts here, including Nurse Ashley. Welcome.
🔐 LEVEL 2 – PRECEPTEE “Learning from the community.”
Now you’re on orientation with a friendly preceptor.
At Level 2 you’re:
  • Asking questions.
  • Trying the basics (password manager, 2FA).
  • Replying to others when you can.
How to move toward Level 3:
  • Post one question in the right channel.
  • Share one small win in 🎉 WINS & TRANSFORMATIONS.
  • Attend a free live session or watch a replay.
You’re no longer lurking. You’re in the game.
đŸ›Ąïž LEVEL 3 – COMPETENT “Basic skills mastered.”
You can make it through a shift without someone holding your hand.
At Level 3 you’re:
  • Using a password manager.
  • Turning on 2FA for your key accounts.
  • Running at least part of the First Monday ritual.
How to move toward Level 4:
  • Finish your full First Monday checklist once.
  • Help answer a simple question for someone newer.
  • Share a before/after win (ex: reused passwords → unique).
You’re becoming the “techy friend” without even meaning to.
đŸ’Ș LEVEL 4 – PROFICIENT “Applying knowledge daily.”
You don’t just know what to do, you actually do it.
At Level 4 you’re:
  • Keeping your passwords and updates current.
  • Checking links and DMs before you click.
  • Showing up regularly for rituals or Win Wednesday.
How to move toward Level 5:
  • Complete at least one full resource path in the Academy Learning Lab.
  • Teach or explain one concept (even in a short comment).
  • Share a story about catching a scam or fixing a risk.
You’re building muscle memory. Security is becoming a habit.
⚡ LEVEL 5 – EXPERT “SAFE Strategy mastered.”
You understand how the pieces fit together: Security, Accountability, Freedom, Empowerment.
At Level 5 you’re:
  • Practicing all four pillars consistently.
  • Using checklists and protocols without needing a reminder.
  • Sharing thoughtful posts, not just quick reactions.
How to move toward Level 6:
  • Lead by example in crisis-support or screenshot-review.
  • Write at least one detailed post helping others.
  • Show up to live calls and ask questions that help the whole group.
You’re an expert in practice, not just in theory.
🏆 LEVEL 6 – CHARGE NURSE “Leading by example.”
Now you’re the one people look to when something goes wrong.
At Level 6 you’re:
  • Calm in crisis (you know the 72‑hour steps).
  • Encouraging others to post wins and questions.
  • Modeling healthy boundaries and digital habits.
How to move toward Level 7:
  • Adopt a few “new grads” in the community and check in on them.
  • Start regular threads (First Monday check‑ins, wins, questions).
  • Share your own mistakes openly so others can learn faster.
You’re running the “digital security shift” on this unit.
🌟 LEVEL 7 – PRECEPTOR “Teaching others.”
You’ve moved from “I’ve got this” to “Let me show you how.”
At Level 7 you’re:
  • Teaching concepts in your own words.
  • Guiding others through tools during lives or in comments.
  • Helping shape what resources Nurse Ashley creates next.
How to move toward Level 8:
  • Create mini-tutorial posts or breakdowns from your experience.
  • Answer deeper questions (mindset, not just buttons to click).
  • Be consistent—people recognize your name and trust your input.
You’re a multiplier. Your growth helps dozens of others grow.
👑 LEVEL 8 – CNO (CHIEF NURSE OFFICER) “Community authority.”
You’re thinking like leadership—about culture, not just checklists.
At Level 8 you’re:
  • Protecting yourself, your family, and often your business.
  • Modeling what long-term sustainability looks like.
  • Helping keep conversations on track, kind, and constructive.
How to move toward Level 9:
  • Mentor other leaders (Charge Nurses and Preceptors).
  • Help welcome new members and point them to the right resources.
  • Provide feedback on big picture direction (what the community needs next).
You’re part of the backbone of this space.
đŸ”„ LEVEL 9 – LEGEND “Elite mentor, fortress.”
You’re living proof that nurses can be Unhackable—and you’re helping others do the same.
At Level 9 you’re:
  • Unshakeable in your own security habits.
  • A go-to mentor for crisis, questions, and courage.
  • Someone whose name people recognize and feel safer around.
Your job now:
  • Keep your own fortress strong.
  • Keep telling the truth about how you got here.
  • Keep pulling others up with you.
You’re not just earning points. You’re changing the culture of nursing online.
HOW TO LEVEL UP (WITHOUT BURNOUT)
You gain points when you:
  • Post questions and wins
  • Comment thoughtfully
  • Share resources and experiences
  • Attend and engage with live sessions and replays
You do NOT have to be “on” every day.Tiny, consistent actions build your level just like they build your security.
A FINAL NOTE
These levels are not about being better than anyone else.
They’re about:
  • Seeing your own growth.
  • Knowing where you are on the journey.
  • Remembering that there’s always someone ahead of you to learn from, and someone behind you to help.
