🎓 WELCOME TO YOUR LEARNING LAB
Think of this as the library desk for the Unhackable Nurse Academy. This post is your map. The actual bookshelves live in the free course in the Classroom:
Open that course first. Everything below tells you where to look inside it, how to ask for help, and how to request new “books” for the shelves.
1️⃣ Where the Resources Actually Live
All resources are organized inside the Academy Learning Lab course in your Skool Classroom (not in this post):
- PDFs, checklists, and templates
- Video mini-trainings and webinar replays
- Tool guides and quick-reference sheets
Inside the course, lessons are grouped by the SAFE Strategy:
- 🔐 Security – passwords, 2FA, device protection
- ⚖️ Accountability – monthly rituals, audits, habits
- 🕊️ Freedom – HIPAA, social media safety
- 💪 Empowerment – breach recovery, confidence
- 🎓 Webinar Replays & Tools – everything else
Bookmark that course. That’s your library.
2️⃣ How to Find What You Need (Like a Librarian Would)
When you open the course, use this mental “card catalog”:
- “I need password help.”Go to 🔐 Security → look for lessons with “Password,” “2FA,” or “Device Lockdown” in the title.
- “I’m scared of HIPAA and posting.”Go to 🕊️ Freedom → find “Can I Post This?” Decision Tree, HIPAA checklists, and safe content ideas.
- “I want a monthly routine so I don’t fall behind.”Go to ⚖️ Accountability → First Monday Ritual checklist, 30‑day sprint, calendar templates.
- “Something bad happened (or almost did).”Go to 💪 Empowerment → Golden Hour checklist, credit freeze walkthrough, emotional recovery.
- “I missed a webinar.”Go to 🎓 Webinars & Replays inside the course for past sessions.
If you’re ever stuck, scan the module titles first. They’re written like signs on shelves.
3️⃣ How to Use a Resource (Fast, Not Perfect)
Inside each lesson:
- Watch or skim the training.
- Download the attached PDF or template.
- Do one small action right away (change 1 password, run 1 HIPAA check, freeze 1 bureau, etc.).
Then:
- Go to 🎉 WINS & ACCOUNTABILITY and post what you did.
- If you get stuck, ask a question in the best-fit category (Security, HIPAA & Compliance, Breach Recovery, etc.).
You don’t have to “finish” everything. Pick one resource → one action.
4️⃣ How to Ask for Help Finding Something
If you can’t find a resource but you’re sure it should exist:
Post in 🎓 ACADEMY LEARNING LAB using this format:
HELP ME FIND: [What you’re looking for]
TOPIC: [Passwords / HIPAA / Breach / Business / Other]
WHAT I’VE TRIED: [Where you looked in the course]
Example:
HELP ME FIND: Credit freeze guideTOPIC: Breach recovery
WHAT I’VE TRIED: Checked Empowerment module but not sure which lesson
I (or another member) will reply with exact lesson name + where to click.
5️⃣ How to Request a New Resource
If it doesn’t exist yet, that’s gold. You’re helping shape the library.
In 🎓 ACADEMY LEARNING LAB, post:
RESOURCE REQUEST
- Topic: [ex: “Employer notification after personal breach”]
- Best format: [PDF / short video / template / live workshop]
- Urgency: [Need this within a week / nice to have / for future]
Examples:
- “Template for telling my manager my personal email was hacked”
- “Short video on how to check what apps are connected to my Facebook”
- “Workshop on LinkedIn security for nurse entrepreneurs”
If 5+ people comment “I need this too,” it gets bumped up the creation list.
6️⃣ How to Ask Questions About Using a Resource
Use the community + the Lab together:
- “I used X resource but I’m stuck on step 3.”Post in the relevant category (Security, HIPAA, Breach, etc.) and mention the exact lesson or PDF name.
Format:
I used: [Course → Module → Lesson]I got stuck at: [describe step]
My question: [what you need clarified]
Example:
I used: Learning Lab → Security → Password Migration Walkthrough.
Stuck at: Exporting passwords from Chrome
My Question: Is it safe to export, and where should I save that file?
The clearer you are, the faster and more specific your help will be.
7️⃣ Invite Your People Into the Library
If you know anyone who needs this:
- A nurse friend who reuses the same password everywhere
- A charge nurse who texts patient info and “knows it’s bad”
- A travel nurse living on hospital/hotel Wi‑Fi
- A CNA, RT, NP, PA, MA, or healthcare student who’d be crushed by a hack
Send them the community link and tell them:
“There’s a free course in the Classroom that’s like a nurse-specific cybersecurity library. Get in here.”
This library is free on purpose. No nurse or healthcare worker should have to navigate breaches, HIPAA panic, or digital threats alone.
8️⃣ What to Do Right Now (2-Minute Start)
- Go to Classroom → Academy Learning Lab: Your Complete Resource Library (Free).
- Open the Start Here / SAFE Overview lesson and download one resource that speaks to you.
- Post in 🏠 START HERE or 🎉 WINS & ACCOUNTABILITY:
“I just grabbed [resource name] from the Learning Lab. My next step is [tiny action].”
That’s you, officially using the “Wikipedia” of Unhackable Nurse resources—not just joining and lurking.
