Starting the day INTENTIONALLY: One of my faaave hacks
Chaotic mornings do *NOT* have to be a thing. This EASY little hack has been a game-changer for setting the tone I want in my home each morning ☀️☀️☀️
It’s so simple it’s almost funny you guys. 😂
Ready?
MAKE ENOUGH DINNER (the night before) TO HAVE FOR BREAKFAST THE NEXT MORNING ☀️
It literally makes so much sense.
Our dinners are usually the heartiest meal of the day!
We usually have a protein 🥩
a carb 🍚
and some sort oil/fat 🧈 as a sauce and maybe even a desert (not me, who’s making deserts for dinner? 🤭)
I get it, sometimes the oatmeal is quicker. The cereal. But if your mornings are busy like mine, then you gotta be thinking ahead and not in a full-court press THAT morning. 🙃
All you gotta do is add some eggs, a smoothie, some high quality sourdough toast and BOOM. It’s now a breakfast, baby!
Starting the day with ADEQUATE NUTRITION is a game changer for your mental health game.
If your body senses enough nutrients, then your nervous system it will be in a state of
“rest & digest” which is the optimal spot for
☀️clear thinking
☀️emotional balance
☀️energy production (no crash at 11 freakin am)
Another great thing about this hack is it sets you up to be able to pack your husband’s lunch for the workday. ❤️ Then he can be set for the day with a good home cooked meal too! Keep that man outta the drive-thru line so he can THINK & FEEL his best too!
Plus, it gets you some of those *Prov 31 Wife* points lol. 😘
Here’s the dinner I revamped into breakfast this morning!
It was: Chicken, Sautéed Zucchini and Rice
I added: Eggs from my own chickens, and a raw milk/blueberry smoothie with milk from my cow and kefir I fermented here at home. Husbands had enough to take for lunch too 👍
Plus me milking the cow! 😂
