We are in the midst of one of the most confused eras in human history. With all of the technology, resources and freedom we have in this present day.
We still choose to live in a prison full of sin.
Why? Why do we continue our cycle of self destruction.
Because it is simply easy and convenient, than turning around and fighting for righteousness.
Deep down, deep deep down. You know what you must do. You are no fool. You are a child of God.
Here is the best possible analogy I could depict, picture you as a young child. Picture the innocence and pure belief/hope that child had. As time goes on, he takes interest in others things, worldly things. Things of the flesh. We will call this the treadmill of SIN.
The thing about the treadmill of sin is, once you realize how good it feels. You want more.
That treadmill speeds up, and you leave your younger self further and further behind. Time ends up slipping away, habits begin to change and before you know it.
"Where did my life go?"
"Who am I?"
"Whoever gets SENSE (wisdom) loves his own soul; he who KEEPS UNDERSTANDING will discover good" - Proverbs 9:8
The treadmill WILL lead to moments of, no self respect, no self love, identity issues, friends you don't truly want to be around, confusion, amends that must be made, and quite frankly an evil life, all these things are in correlation with fear.
Unfortunately, this is cannon. Since we are all one, we all experience this at some point in our lives. The only human who lived on this earth who did not fall into temptation of the treadmill was Jesus Christ. Don't be fooled, he was tempted. That is why he is the most famous person in the world, because he quite simply did the impossible.
With that, Jesus's disobedience of the treadmill of sin came many things people thought were impossible. Endless love, satisfaction, miracles, he quite literally changed the world. Just by following the rules. The rules that are just.
The almighty knows you and everything to the point where you cannot and never will comprehend. This is called the TRUTH. He knows what is best for us.
"Fear of the lord leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied" - Proverbs 9:23
We should be using the fear towards the correct thing, fear of punishment/self destruction of falling back into that cycle of sin.
Let us build persistence, and perseverance. Let us pray for these things.
Lets get back to the treadmill, the further and faster you run on the treadmill, a few things happen.
You start to get a taste for what it is like to be at speed 9, and then 10, and then speed 12.
It becomes harder, and harder to come back to your original self, which is the version that God intended to create you.
(You think this is me typing this? This is the Holy Spirit speaking through me, I quite literally know nothing)
Anyhow, it becomes one of the hardest things in the world, to turn that treadmill around and to recognize what is going on around you. Usually people figure this out because they have gone over the deep end or there was some sort of tragedy. (Mid life crisis, near death experience, death of parent, overdose ETC.)
What we're saying is, you can take the stance, take a step back. Surrender your will, admit you know nothing.
Then and only then, are you able to turn the treadmill around, and start believing in love again, rather be consumed by fear.
Once that treadmill is turned around, you will be fighting the Holy War. And then, and only then your eyes will fully be opened and direction will be as clear as day.
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. ❤️✝️
