1️⃣ Accept what’s outside your control.
You can’t heal what you’re still trying to manage. When something is beyond your control, all your doing is allowing it to affect your emotions. In that, your allowing that external "thing" dictate how to react. The moment you stop gripping everything that isn’t yours to fix, and release that control, life gets easier.
2️⃣ Take responsibility for your actions.
Healing doesn’t mean blaming the past forever. It means asking, “Who do I want to be now?” and choosing that, even when it’s hard. You have played a role in every thing that has happened to you, and will continue to play a roll in everything that happens moving forward. It come down to your choices on how things get to work for you.
3️⃣ Respond instead of react.
When your nervous system calms, so does your life. Regulation is power, this is how you stop repeating old stories and start writing new ones. Where in your life can you take a pause and respond to what's happening, vs the automatic react?
4️⃣ Stop seeking approval from outside sources.
No one else can validate you. When your constantly seeking outside approval your also performing for an audience "hoping they like you." Start loving who you are first, and those who dont, that loss is on them. When you stop performing for approval you become magnetic.
Reclaiming your life isn’t about changing everything overnight. Its consciously coming back to the work time and time again.
