Grateful for this fast
I'm grateful for this current fast. The Lord is revealing many things about myself and about the plot of the enemy against my life. The lies he's used to keep me stagnate as well as behaviors and mindsets I still hold that need to come under Him. This all is being illuminated and brought through purifying fire.
I'm reminded of Hebrews 4:12: "For the WORD OF GOD is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and marrow, and DISCERNING THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTIONS OF THE HEART" (ESV). There is power in the word.
I'm taking this time today to slow down and self-examine and reflect upon my ways, that they'd line up with His.
