The Tattered Atelier was born from a love of old books, worn lace, and papers that tell a story—but more than that, from a belief that creating with intention is deeply nourishing.
Here, you are encouraged to explore, experiment, and create in your own unique way!
Inside The Tattered Atelier, you will find:
✦ Tutorials for making unique ephemera, charms, master boards, tags, and more
✦ A beginner handmade journal series, including bookbinding and construction methods
✦ A variety of journal styles: vintage, shabby, distressed, antique lace, junk journals, etc.
✦ Mixed-media layering, texture, and dimension
✦ Distressing techniques: aging, dyeing, and tattering lace and paper
