34 hours into my fast ✅
I’m 34 hours into my 3-day water fast, and let me just say, Day 1 hit hard. To top it off, my period started yesterday (Day 1 of my fast). Sorry for the overshare (men, you’ve been warned), but wow… I was sick.
Day 1 breakdown:
• No coffee.
• No sugar.
• Pounding headache.
• Vomiting.
Yup, that was my body detoxing hardcore. For months, I’ve felt like my body’s been carrying toxins from what I’ve been consuming—and that’s part of why I created this challenge for myself.
Poor Beau… he was asking what he could do as I had my head over the toilet, vomiting. He was like, “Do you want to eat?” and I was like, “No way! I haven’t come this far to quit now.” I knew this was the peak of purging—my body getting rid of all the junk.
Let’s be real team fasting isn’t easy.
Especially when you’ve been hooked on caffeine and sugar like me! (Seriously, if you cut me open, I’m convinced that’s what you’d find inside, coffee flavoured sugar cubs 😂.)
Anyway, I’m now 34 hours in. After the biggest sleep of my life, I woke up feeling so much better—no headache, just a slight buzz in my body. I’m ready to start my day.
