Communing & Communion
Communing- To talk together intimately:
This is the most common usage, signifying a close conversation between two or more people. Communion-The sharing or exchanging of intimate thoughts and feelings, especially when the exchange is on a mental or spiritual level. Communing and Communion is never one sided but it takes two, one gives and the other receives and vice versa. As we begin soaking in the presence of Heavenly Father, we must be willing to hear and listen to him as sons and daughters, by becoming imitators of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who stated
John 5:19
Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing on his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. As we take these steps we share in the life of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father responds by also hearing and listening to Our request made known through Our prayers.
Luke 22:19-20
19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.
