First Poem Post!
Funny Thing Called Life
It’s funny how life works
All the bullshit, all the perks
All the good people, all the jerks
All the slick ways, all the quirks
All put into your life for you to learn
Put in your life permanently, or just for a turn
To teach you love & compassion, or to teach you who to avoid because you’ll get burned
To teach you what is & what isn’t of concern
But all in the end, you’ll have been formed
Formed into a wiser you, with a better understanding of disguises used, by the people who, are just like you.
Finding their way, going day by day
Most of the time working, once in a while a lil play
Learning for themselves the very things you’re learning yourself.
Trying to have a happy life full of wealth
Trying to maneuver through this maze called life with stealth
Trying to do all they do while maintaining good health
I say all this to say, we often feel alone
And even though we are alone, in our heads & on our paths in life,
We all together, have our different storms to weather
And we all together will eventually find life so much better
And find the glory in our different but similar story
