Does being ‘Self-Autonomous’ mean anything anymore?
Does “Self-Autonomous” Mean Anything Anymore?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the phrase self-autonomous.
At its core, it suggests:
  • thinking for yourself
  • making conscious choices
  • not being led purely by habit, comfort, or external pressure
But I’m curious how that lands with you.
  • Does the phrase self-autonomous resonate, or does it feel abstract?
  • Do you think modern culture supports people becoming more self-autonomous… or quietly works against it?
  • Where do you personally feel autonomy most challenged—time, attention, health, money, beliefs?
There’s no right answer here. I’m genuinely interested in how others see this.
